MACHINIST FILES
FILE TYPE USES
FLAT, FLAT SUPER LIGHT Used in practically all traders for general work on iron, steel etc. for smoothing surfaces and for rapidly removing sharp edges and burr.
HAND Have one uncut safe edge and so can be used in corners and close to shoulders.
HALF ROUND Used for general purpose and for rapid removal of metal from convex and concave as well as fat surfaces.
SQUARE Square files are used principally for fling slots, keyways and also for general surface fling. In larger sizes, the square file is preferred to the flat file, because of the heavier section and four fling surfaces.
ROUND Mainly used to file circular openings or concave surfaces.
3-SQUARE Used for fling internal acute angles, clearing out square corners, etc.
PILLER Suitable for enlarging small slots and keyways or for jobs where the hand file is too wide or too thick to be used.
WARDING These are used principally by locksmiths in reparing or fling ward notches in keys. Also suited for use in narrow spaces where other files will not fit.
KNIFE Generally used by tool and die maker for slots, keyways and fling narrow passages in cutting slant metal shapes.






SAW FILES
TAPER, SLIM, EXTRA SLIM, DOUBLE EXTRA, REGULAR, HEAVY Taper saw files are for sharpening standard hand saws or other saws having 60 degree angle teeth. In general, the extra slim and double extra slim in the short length are for fine teeth saws and the longer lengths of the regular or slim are for coarse teeth saw.
DOUBLE ENDER These files have no tang, instead are tapered at both ends. They are used to sharpen saws having a 60 degree angle. The files can be used from both ends and are supplied with handles.
BAND SAW - BLUNT Band saw blunt files are for sharpening standard blades having well rounded gullets.
PIT SAW Used for sharpening pit saws and also very popular as all purpose files.
MILL - REGULAR Mill files are used for sharpening mill saws or circular saws and various cutting tools and as a genral purpose shop file.
MILL - ORE/TRE Same as regular mill files except that they have 1 or 2 round edges. The round edges prevent the files from causing sharp corners or edges in the gullets of circular cross cut saws.
FARMERS OWN A handy file for farmers. Used for sharpening agricultural tools and knives of reaping and moving machines.
DOUBLE EDGE Used for fling saws where included angle of teeth is less than 60 degree.
FEATHER EDGE Used for fling saws where included angle of teeth is less than 60 degree.


Classic Industrial V-Belts

Umang Marketing is the authorized distributors for top quality Classic Industrial V-Belts, designed specially for reverse-bend drive by positioning tensile members closer to the bottom compare to that of conventional multiple V-belts A, B, & C.

1. Escon V-Belts

Cover: The cut cover fabric is impregnated with special NEOPRENE rubber compound to provide strong abrasion resistance on the pulley groove and to protect the inner part of the belts.
Tension Member: Specially treated tough polyester cords impart high strength, low elongation and excellent resistance to bending fatigue.
Top Compression Section: High heat dissipating rubber compound with-stands increased flexong and sudden shock loads.
Insulation Section: This holds the tension members in place and acts as binding force between cords, top and bottom compression sections.
Bottom Compression Section: This is specially compounded to resist compression fatigue and heat for longer service life.

2. Escon Wedge Belts

Escon Wedge Belts contain high modules polyester cords, which together with specially formulated bottom compression rubber compound and insulation rubber, constitute over unshakeable union even under severest flexing conditions. The cords retain their designed and correct position under tension without any cord movement. Escon Wedge Belts do not buckle even on toughest drives.

Escon Wedge Belts are capable of transmitting more than twice as much power as traditional Vee belts, hence resulting in space saving, narrower pulleys, reduced overhung and increased bearing life.

3. Escon Raw Edge Cogged Belts

Belt Construction

1. Top Fabric: Resists wear, oil and heat with excellent flexibility
2. Tension Member: Specially treated low stretch and high strength polyester cable cords that provide great resistance to bending fatigue and stability of belt length.
3. Compression Rubber: Specially compounded rubber with fibers that keeps stability of the normal cross section of the belt on the pulleys, providing longer service life.
4. Bottom Fabric: Resists oil and heat with excellent flexibility and provides great resistance to cracking of the compression rubber.

4. Escon Conveyor Belting

1. Belt Width: The Escon Conveyor Belts are available in standard width from 150 mm to 2000 mm in open and endless length as per customer's requirement.
Construction: Conveyor belt generally consists of cover rubber, carcass and rubber skim coat.
Cover Rubber: Covers of natural or synthetic rubber are designed to protect the carcass from abrasion, impact, deterioration and other injuries influences. They are compounded to meet particular service conditions such as abrsion, oil, heat, fire, chemical, resistant and antistatic etc.
Carcass: Carcass of belt maintains the belt tension and supplies structural strength, in supporting and pulling the load. Carcass consists of multiple plies of rubber impregnated fabric bonded with friction and skim coats. The fabrics most commonly used are nylon, polyester and cotton etc.
Rubber Skim Coat: An extra layer compound between plies that increases flex and creates a more elastic link so that plies flex without separation. Skim coated cushion fabric helps in protecting against moisture.
